Information pursuant to art. 13 of the legislative decree 30 June 2003 n. 196
Pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, containing provisions regarding the protection of personal data, we wish to inform you that the personal data you voluntarily provided to the University of Padua will be processed by the same adopting the appropriate measures to guarantee its security and confidentiality, in compliance with aforementioned legislation.
1. Purposes and methods of data processing
1.1. Navigation data.
The computer systems used to operate the unipd.it site automatically acquire, in their daily operation, some personal data that are implicitly transmitted in the use of web communication protocols. This is data which, if processed with data held by third parties, could identify users / visitors. These are, for example, the IP address and domain names of the computers used by users / visitors who connect to unipd.it. These personal data are normally collected for statistical surveys, managed anonymously and used to facilitate navigation on the unipd.it site.
1.2. Cookies.
The unipd.it site uses cookies, which are short strings of text that are sent from the site server to the user’s / visitor’s browser and are automatically saved on the user’s / visitor’s PC. The main purpose of these cookies is to make site navigation more usable and therefore it is advisable to configure your browser to accept them. Almost all browsers are set to accept cookies, however the user / visitor can independently change the configuration of their browser and block cookies (opt-out). It is necessary to know that in the event of blocking of cookies, the use of the unipd.it site and the use of some services may be limited.
Cookies are then divided into “session” and “persistent”, the former once downloaded are then deleted when the browser is closed, the latter are stored on the hard disk of the user / visitor until they expire. < br /> Persistent cookies are mainly used to facilitate site navigation, to understand which sections of the site have generated a certain number of pages and users.
1.3 Purpose
The data collected is processed exclusively for the following purposes:
- to carry out the provision of services requested by users;
- provide user support;
- carry out statistical analyzes, for the sole purpose of improving the offer of services.
1.4. Data processing:
The treatments will be carried out both manually and with the aid of electronic or automated means, and include, in compliance with the limits and conditions set by article 11 of Legislative Decree 196/03, all operations, or set of operations, indicated in art. 4 paragraph 1 letter. a) Legislative Decree 196/03: collection, registration, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, cancellation and destruction of data.
2. Communication and dissemination of data
The data collected will not be disseminated or communicated to third parties, except in the cases provided for by the information and / or by the law and, in any case, in the manner permitted by this.
The data may be disclosed to the data processors or processors, within the scope of their respective functions and in accordance with the instructions received, only for the achievement of the specific purposes indicated in this information.
3. Rights of the interested party
With regard to such data, the rights provided for by art. 7 of Legislative Decree. 196/2003, within the limits and under the conditions set out in articles 8, 9 and 10 of the aforementioned legislative decree by sending an email to engineering@unipd.it
4. Owner and manager of the treatment
